We are really proud to share our Maths Champion Certificate with you.
Our lovely Becky & Vicky have been working really hard and have completed the NDNA’s Maths Champion Programme. This has included an intense ‘dive’ into the world of Early Years Maths – auditing staff confidence levels, auditing our resources and looking at the children’s Mathematical confidence and understanding before and after the introduction of new resources and activities. This pushed both Becky and Vicky a little out of their comfort zone as the course required quite a lot of technological confidence and they have both learnt new computer skills as well as brushing up on their Maths. We are really proud to be part of the NDNA Maths Champions community and really proud of the effort Becky & Vicky have put in. We know that our 3bees and Pre Schoolers have really benefitted from, (and will continue to benefit from) the staff teams confidence and ideas. I am really proud of them and I hope you are too! Last night we had a staff training session and Becky & Vicky confidently led the team through the language of Maths and how this impacts upon children’s learning.
