Bethany has recently joined our team in 2024. Bethany helps kat out in the kitchen and covers lunch breaks for the staff. She is a whizz at making flapjack and is very organised.

Heather has been managing Sunflowers for over 20 years. She has worked hard to instil the ethos and excellent practice that Sunflowers prides itself on.

Helen has been at Sunflowers for 20 years, she came fresh out of collage and has worked her way up to Deputy Manager. Helen holds a foundation degree in early years and is the settings Safeguard Lead.

Marie works across all the rooms, she is the settings Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and is responsible for auditing our day to day practice and paperwork within the nursery and ensuring the children’s planning and assessment are to a high standard. She has a very calming nature and this means our smallest people at Sunflowers settle in really well, she is also excellent at reassuring new parents meaning they are very happy to leave their children with us. Alison is our 2 deloos room leader, she has a calm but also imaginative side to keep our 2 year olds busy and develop that thirst for learning. Alison holds the level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, level 4 Healthcare Play Specialist Qualification and is currently completing a level 5 Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship.

Rosie has worked at Sunflowers since 2018 and is now a Lead Practitioner. Rosie likes doing art and craft activities and is very good at keeping everything order. She has a level 3 CACHE Diploma in Early Years and is currently completing a level 5 Lead Practitioner apprenticeship.

Vicky works across all three rooms, she likes the variety of activities and age ranges and likes spending time with the children as they grow and move rooms. Vicky loves singing and dancing and especially loves Christmas. Vicky has achieved the level 3 Diploma in Pre School Practice.

Hayley has recently returned to nursery after experiencing other settings and having 2 children of her own. Hayley mainly works between the 2-Deloos and Baby room. Emma fancied trying something new and choose to try out Childcare and has recently come to work at Sunflowers as a Nursery Assistant. She mainly works in 2-Deloos room. She likes getting stuck in with all the activities.
